General Strat

    Phase 1

  • The boss will be tanked in one of the corners that are in LoS of ranged. Example
  • Ranged will be on one side of the boss at max range and melee will be on the opposite side. Both groups will take their Echolocation debuffs that cause Descent and a Sanguine Ichor puddle out behind them, up against the wall or in old puddles if safe to do so.
  • The rythym of the phase 1 is:
    • Get in your main positions
    • Take Echolocation out.
    • Dodge Echoing Screech Orbs by moving to the right.
    • Stack in cubby to LoS boss during Earsplitting Shriek (called Bloodcurdling Shriek on beta?) to stack Sanguine Ichor puddles.
    • Wait for Echolocation to go out and take them to the wall
    • Return to main positions
  • Tanks (Healers) - You will be hit by Exsanguinating Bite giving you 10 stacks of Exsanguinated. This reduces your healing taken by 10% per stack so you need to be topped before bitten. You lose a stack every 1.5s. Its possible the puddles may be soaked to reduce these stacks but that may have been removed.
  • Melee - The boss will turn at a player and Blind Swipe at their location. Dodge this when the boss swings around.
  • Healers - Wave of Blood deals a burst of damage and applies a dot to the raid. This may overlap with abilities like Shriek and Echo so plan cds accordingly.
  • Phase 2 - Max Energy ~ 1:40-1:50 (beta M)

  • The boss will teleport to mid upon reaching max energy and cast Blood Shroud, knocking back players and making the boss immune to damage.
  • You need to avoid attacking or being near the boss for the rest of P2.
  • There will be orbs bouncing around the room that you must avoid. At the same time though, you have to LoS the boss whenever it casts Sonar Shriek. Getting hit by either kills you and anyone near you.

  • Mythic

  • A Bloodlight Lantern that can be interacted with will spawn at the beginning of the fight. This lantern must not be hit by Descent or Deadly Descent or it will break, soonafter causing a wipe.
  • The lantern is the only way for the raid to see the Echo orbs from phase 1 and phase 2. A player must pick it up and apply at least 1 stack of Bloodlight to all players who need to see the orbs.
