General Strat

  • Boss will be tanked in mid with the raid behind the boss loosely stacked.
  • There will be 3 portals in the arena that spawn orbs (2 in heroic). We must dps down one of the orbs everytime they spawn. Not killing an orb is an instant wipe. When an orb hit the boss, he casts a certain ability and spawns an add based on which hit him.
  • It is important to not get hit by multiple abilities within 30s of one another due to Instability Exposure. For example, if you soak a bouncing missile, you need to not get hit by a vita laser. If you just vita lasered, you need to avoid getting the Unstable Nightmare debuff by being too close to them when they pop.
  • The above means we need to avoid minging the debuff zones together and be clear as to where we are going when we get a debuff.
  • Nightmare Orb hits boss (Mythic) = Shoots missiles at players that hits anyone with 5 yards, a debuff that is applied to a player that needs to run out with their circles (dealing damage to anyone near) that then jumps to the closest player, and a nightmare add that shoots a pillar of fire that follows a player.
  • Vita Orb hits boss = Aoe Nature damage right away, A debuff that shoots a laser between the main player and the farthest from them which then gives the second player the debuff, and a Vita add that spam casts Chain Lightning at a player and anyone near.
  • Void Orb hits boss = Healing shield that needs to be healed off the raid, a bouncing missile that needs to be soaked, and a void add that casts a meteor on a player that the raid needs to help soak.
  • Nightmare + Vita = Lightning bois at the back sides that zap across the room and Nightmare circle bois avoid lightning bois and bounce the circle debuff around near melee.
  • Nightmare + Void = Void soak debuff in, Nightmare circles out.
  • Vita + Void = Lightning bois at the back sides zapping across the room while avoiding the people soaking the bouncing missile with Void Soak Debuffs running into the group.


  • Phase 2 begins at 40%. It is a burn phase where the raid will mostly be near the boss.

  • Healers need to allow tanks to ride around half hp just before Decaying Strike. After being hit, the tank will have a dot based on what their hp was during the time of the strike. Higher health on the strike = more damage.
  • There will be swirlies you need to avoid.
  • If you get Charged Bonds, you are chained to another player. Quickly run away from them until your chain snaps then return to the raid.
  • In mythic, there is a Corrupted Existence debuff that will go out on 3 players. If they reach max hp they die so healers need to avoid them if possible and the debuffed players need to avoid using health pot/stone.

Abilities

    Phase 1 - Gathering Power

  • Nullifying Strike (Tank) - At 100 Energy, Ra-den unleashes a void empowered strike, inflicting 295k Shadow damage and decreases the target’s maximum health by 25% for 25s.
  • Nightmare Empowered (Mythic) - After absorbing an Essence of Nightmare, Ra-den becomes empowered with nightmare energy for 40s.
    • Unleashed Nightmare (Mythic) - After absorbing an Essence of Nightmare, Ra-den releases a swarm of missiles at all enemies, inflicting 295k Shadow damage in a 5 yard radius.
    • Unstable Nightmare (Mythic) - After absorbing an Essence of Nightmare, Ra-den infects an enemy with 5 stacks of Unstable Nightmare for 6s. Upon expiration the inflicted player explodes with nightmare energy, consuming a stack of Unstable Nightmare and inflicting 344k Shadow damage to all enemies within 15 yards. All players hit are afflicted with Unleashed Nightmare. All remaining stacks are transferred to the nearest friendly ally.
      • Instability Exposure (Mythic) - Exposure to unstable elements increases damage taken from Unstable Vita, Unstable Void, and Unstable Nightmare by 300% for 30s.
    • Call Night Terror (Mythic) - Summons a Night Terror.

        • Dread Inferno (Mythic) - Ra-den unleashes nightmare fires that follow targets, inflicting 123k Fire damage every 1s to anyone in it.
  • Vita Empowered - After absorbing an Essence of Vita, Ra-den becomes empowered with Vita Energy for 40s.
    • Unleashed Vita - After absorbing an Essence of Vita, Ra-den unleashes a wave of lightning, inflicting 295k Nature damage to all enemies.
    • Unstable Vita - Charges the target with storm energy, causing a surge of lightning every 6s, which transfers Unstable Vita to the farthest available target. The streaking lightning inflicts 246k Nature damage, applies an application of Instability Exposure to all players in its path. Each transfer consumes a stack of Unstable Vita.
      • Instability Exposure - Exposure to unstable elements increases damage taken from Unstable Vita, Unstable Void, and Unstable Nightmare by 300% for 30s.
    • Call Crackling Stalker - Summons a Crackling Stalker.
      • Crackling Stalker
        • Chain Lightning - Crackling Stalker launches a bolt of lightning at a target, inflicting 148k Nature damage. This bolt can then chain to additional targets within 8 yards, dealing increasing damage with each hop.
  • Void Empowered - After absorbing an Essence of Void, Ra-den becomes empowered with void energy for 40s.
    • Unleashed Void - After absorbing an Essence of Void, Ra-den unleashes a wave of void energy, applying a shield that absorbs up to 249k Healing taken and inflicts 25k Shadow damage every 3s for 40s.
    • Unstable Void - Launches a void missile at a nearby location, inflicting 270k Shadow damage and applying Instability Exposure to all enemies in a 6 yard radius. If this damage is not soaked it will trigger Unstable Void Burst, inflicting 216k Shadow damage, applying Instability Exposure and Silencing all players for 8s. Another missile will then be launched at another nearby location. This can occur up to 5 times.
      • Instability Exposure - Exposure to unstable elements increases damage taken from Unstable Vita, Unstable Void, and Unstable Nightmare by 300% for 30s.
    • Call Void Hunter - Summons a Void Hunter.

        • Void Collapse - The caster unleashes void energy at the largest group of players, inflicting 2.9mil Shadow damage split among all enemies within 8 yards. All enemies hit are afflicted with Void Defilement.
          • Void Defilement - Reduces all healing taken by 50% for 14s.

  • Draw Nightmare - The conjured Nightmare seeks out its creator, in order to imbue him with power.
  • Unclaimed Nightmare - Essence of Nightmare transfers the remanence of its energy to Ra-den upon death, lasting for 2.8min. Upon receiving 2 applications of Unclaimed Nightmare, Ra-den becomes infuriated, triggering Overwhelming Rage.
    • Overwhelming Rage - Ra-den becomes enraged, increases all damage done by 300%.

  • Unclaimed Vita - Essence of Vita transfers the remanence of its energy to Ra-den upon death, lasting for 2.8min. Upon receiving 2 applications of Unclaimed Vita, Ra-den becomes infuriated, triggering Overwhelming Rage.
    • Overwhelming Rage - Ra-den becomes enraged, increases all damage done by 300%.

  • Draw Void - The conjured Void seeks out its creator, in order to imbue him with power.
  • Unclaimed Void - Essence of Voidtransfers the remanence of its energy to Ra-den upon death, lasting for 2.8min. Upon receiving 2 applications of Unclaimed Void, Ra-den becomes infuriated, triggering Overwhelming Rage.
    • Overwhelming Rage - Ra-den becomes enraged, increases all damage done by 300%.
  • Phase 2 - Unleashed Wrath - 40%

  • Ruin - Vita and Void energy erupts from Ra-den, inflicting 74k Plague damage to all nearby enemies every 2s.
  • Decaying Strike (Tank) - At 100 Energy, Ra-den violently strikes an enemy, inflicting 123k Physical damage and leaves a Decaying Wound.
    • Decaying Wound - Ra-den inflicts a nightmarish wound, inflicting Shadow damage equal to 100% of the players health at the time of application every 2s for 10s.
  • Void Eruption - Ra-den rips open multiple tears in reality, inflicting 270k Shadow damage to all enemies within 12 yards.
  • Charged Bonds - Ra-den tethers a target to multiple allies, inflicting 35k Nature damage every 1s. This damage increases by 20% every 1s. Moving more than 40 yards from the ally dispels the Charged Bonds.
  • Gorge Energy - Ra-den pulls essence directly from the source, applying a stack of Lingering Energies.
    • Lingering Energies - each time Unleased Void or Unleashed Vita is triggered, the caster gains 10% increased damage. This effect applies to any minions created by the caster, and lasts indefinitely, stacks.
  • Corrupted Existence (Mythic) - The caster afflicts 3 targets with corrupting nightmare energy, inflicting 320k Shadow damage and causing the target to die if they ever reach maximum health for 30s.
