The Hivemind

General Strat

  • On pull, bosses will be tanked together near one of the room edges. Every time they reach 100% energy, the bosses need to be spread or brought back together. When a boss reaches 0% hp, it will begin casting a full heal unless the other boss also hits 0%.
  • We want to kill Drones in one general area at a time as they drop poison puddles when they die. This will allow everyone to spread for Echoing Void much easier and let the tanks move around the arena in a consistent direction.
  • Tanks need to pick up Ravagers when they spawn from Drones and bring them to the melee boss asap.
  • When the bosses are together, the adds ramp up a damage and speed buff. It should be fine as long as the Ravager or Darters aren’t alive too long. When the bosses are spread, the adds will continue to heal while at low hp back to 20% so they need a finisher ready.
  • The DPS priority on adds is Volatile Eruption Drones > Darters > Ravagers > Drones. Melee should stay near the bosses and only jump on darters that move into range of them.
  • Ka’zir needs to have it’s Mind-Numbing Nova kicked at all times. This is likely to be the melee focused boss. A spread of melee between the bosses may be necessary for the Echoing Void ability.
  • When Tek’ris casts Echoing Void, everyone needs to be pre-spread as you hit anyone within 4 yards. You then drop a pulse puddle that hits anyone in it after about a second. A generous spread is a good idea when this is coming out.
  • Things to avoid include poison puddles, Drone’s death puddles, the rolling Acidic Aqir that cross the arena, and Tek’ris’ Nullification Blast frontal cone.

Abilities

  • Hivemind - Control over the Hivemind shifts between Tek’ris and Ka’zir. When the Hivemind effect transfers is triggers a Devouring Frenzy. Based on energy.
  • Devouring Frenzy - The hive goes into a frenzy, inflicting 16k Nature damage to all players every .5s for 12s. Each time Devouring Frenzy is triggered, the damage it deals is increased by 20%.
  • Tek’ris’s Hivemind Control - When Tek’ris and Ka’zir are more than 20 yards from each other they trigger Shadow Veil. All lesser Aqir summoned during this effect permanently gain Void Infusion.
    • Shadow Veil - Reduces damage taken by Ka’zir, Tek’ris, and all Lesser Aqir by 99%.
    • Void Infusion - Increases damage done by 1% and movement speed by 1% every 1s. All Lesser Aqir summoned during Tek’ris’s Hivemind Control permanently gain this effect.
  • Ka’zir’s Hivemind Control - When Tek’ris and Ka’zir are within 20 yards of each other they trigger Shadow Veil. All lesser Aqir summoned during this effect permanently gain Regeneration.
    • Shadow Veil - Reduces damage taken by Ka’zir, Tek’ris, and all Lesser Aqir by 99%.
    • Regeneration - Lesser Aqir regenerate 5% of their max health every 1s while below 20% health. All Lesser Aqir summoned during Ka’zir’s Hivemind Control permanently gain this effect.
  • Ka’zir
  • Volatile Eruption - Ka’zir increases the maximum health of an Aqir Drone by 150% and grants it immunity to loss of control effects. After 20s the Aqir Drone self destructs, inflicting 393k Nature damage to all players.
  • Spawn Acidic Aqir - Ka’zir spawns Acidic Aqir that travel forward spraying acid, players that come into contact with them suffer 246k Nature damage and are afflicted with Corrosion. Pools of acid seep from Acidic Aqir eggs before hatching.
    • Corrosion - Inflicts 30k Nature damage every 2s and increases all damage taken by 50% for 16s.
  • Mind-Numbing Nova (Poison Interruptible) - Ka’zir sprays Mind-Numbing Toxin at all players, inflicting 49k Nature damage every 2s and reducing haste by 100% for 8s.
  • Tek’ris
  • Accerlerated Evolution (Tank) - Tek’ris transforms an Aqir Drone into an Aqir Ravager, restoring 100% of its health and increasing its health by 500% and damage done by 450%.
    • Aqir Ravager (Tank) - Aqir Ravagers obey threat and inflict heavy Physical damage.
      • Ravage - Inflicts 98k Physical damage every 2s for 20s.
  • Nullification Blast - Tek’ris blasts the ground, inflicting 162k Shadow damage to players in a frontal cone and afflicting them with Nullification.
    • Nullification - Inflicts 74k Shadow damage every 2s and reduces healing effects received by 100% for 6s.
  • Echoing Void - Tek’ris unleashes a wave of Void energy, inflicting 123k Shadow damage to all players and causes them to pulse an additional 162k shadow damage to allies within 4 yards. Echoing Void triggers Entropic Echo.
    • Entropic Echo (Mythic) - Echoing Void creates an Entropic Echo at each player’s location inflicting 197k Shadow damage to players within 4 yards of the impact and afflicting them with nullification.
      • Nullification - Inflicts 74k Shadow damage every 2s and reduces healing effects received by 100% for 6s.
  • Dark Reconstitution - Upon reaching 1% health, the caster becomes immune to all damage and begins cast Dark Reconstitution, healing 100% of the caster’s maximum health. The cast is interrupted if both Tek’ris and Ka’zir are defeated.
