Vexiona

General Strat

  • The boss will be tanked close to where we are dropping Encroaching Shadows puddles, but not too close as to allow adds to spawn in them.
  • When tanks are hit by Dispair, they need to be topped off and kept topped off until their debuff explodes. This explosion deals more damage based on how much missing health the tank has.
  • We will take Encroaching Shadows circle debuffs to the right, constantly filling up the arena to our right with puddles then moving left as a group. This occurs the whole fight.

  • This is a 2 phase fight with an intermission where the boss flies up in the air.
  • Phase 1 involves managing adds.
  • We will use the Void Ascendant’s Annihilation ability to nuke down the pack of adds.
  • Add Dps priority on those that survive is Iron-Willed Enforcer (Big Boi) > Void Ascendant (that we want dead) > Soulcarver (Teleport Boi) > Spellbound Ritualist (Caster) > Fanatical Cultist (little bois) > Void Ascendant.
  • The Spellbound Ritualists need to be kicked. Should have ranged assigned to kick them as melee shouldn’t stand in Annihilate.
  • The Iron-Willed Enforcer will grip in players who are running out with Encroaching Shadows so save a movement ability for if this happens. Try to avoid using them right as you start running out.
  • Intermission begins when the boss reaches 100 energy. It ends after 3 breaths.
  • Vexiona will fly up in the air and line up on one of the sides. She will then breathe fire all the way down to the other side of the room in a line. (similar to the helicopters on motherload’s last boss)
  • We will call MID (move to middle of room) or OUT (move towards entrance or towards boss spawn).

  • Phase 2 begins when the boss reaches 40% health.
  • She spawns an image of herself that flies to one of the sides and does the same breath as intermission.
  • Similar to Grong’s Ferocious Roar, everyone needs to be standing with at least 1 buddy all of the last phase. When Vexiona casts Heart of Darkness, everyone needs to run away from her while staying with a buddy.
  • During Desolation, there will be a large soak circle. Many players need to soak this to distribute the stacks and damage it splits between soakers. Saccing this requires 3 people to die or it is recast.
