Dark Inquisitor Xanesh

General Strat

  • Boss will be tanked around where orbs spawn and raid will be near the boss. The main tank will be knocked back by Abyssal Strike and needs to avoid hitting Azshara, hitting the pillars, or flying off the platform.
  • The main mechanic is knocking orbs around the room and into a portal. You do this by having 3 people stand in Void Ritual portals (similar to Zaq delirium) and having those people get hit by the orbs, facing the direction they want the orb to go. If a single player hits the orb 3 times, the player dies.
  • The orb must not hit a pillar, Queen Azshara in mid, or the walls of the room. The raid must also avoid being hit by the orb.
  • In Mythic, hitting the orb spawns an interruptible add that chain casts fear. The orb bois need to hit the orb to the portal in as few hits as possible so less adds spawn. We will move around the room, dpsing the adds down and making sure they are kicked.
  • There will be cones of Torment from the middle of the room that must be avoided (sets of 3).
  • After Soul Flay is cast, run away from your flayed soul.

Abilities

  • Void Ritual - Xanesh performs a ritual that requires 3 willing players to participate in it. If 3 players do not participate, Xanesh inflicts 1.4mil Shadow damage to all players. Players that participate become Voidwoken. When the ritual finishes, a Void Orb is summoned.
    • Voidwoken - Voidwoken players are attuned to the void, reducing damage dealt by 99% and allowing them to redirect Void Orbs for 40s. Players are afflicted with Void-Touched after the Orb is eliminated.
    • Void-Touched - 20k Shadow damage inflicted every 1s. Unable to become Voidwoken.
  • Void Orb - Voidwoken players can redirect the orb by touching it, causing the orb to drift in the direction they are facing. If the orb touches a non-Voidwoken player, they suffer Revile. If the orb touches Queen Azshara, a ritual obelisk, or the edges of the chamber, it triggers Dark Collapse. When the orb touches an open portal it is consumed by the void, dispersing harmlessly. In Mythic difficulty, when a Voidwoken player comes into contact with a Void Orb they trigger Imminent Doom and summon an Awakened Terror.
    • Awakened Terror (Mythic Interruptible) - The caster unleashes a wave of terror, inflicting 123k Shadow damage to all players and causing them to flee in fear for 3s.
    • Imminent Doom - Voidwoken players that come into contact with a Void Orb are afflicted with Imminent Doom for 12s. If Imminent Doom reaches 3 stacks the victim triggers Doom.
      • Doom - The victim’s soul is claimed by the Void, instantly killing them.
    • Revile - Players that are not Voidwoken are knocked away and suffer 196k Shadow damage when coming into contact with a Void Orb
    • Dark Collapse - Inflicts 4.9 million Shadow damage to all players and grants Xanesh Dark Ascension and Fanaticism.
      • Dark Ascension - Increases damage done by Dark Collapse by 500%.
      • Fanaticism - Increases attack speed by 50% for 30s.
  • Summon Ritual Obelisk - Xanesh summons obelisks that create a Ritual Field at their location. Void Orbs that collide with a Ritual Obelisk trigger Dark Collapse.
    • Ritual Field - Inflicts 125k Shadow damage to players in the area every 1.5s and reduces movement speed by 50%.
  • Abyssal Strike (Tank) - Xanesh strikes her current target with a tendril of void energy, knocking them back and inflicting 393k Shadow damage. Increases damage taken by Abyssal Strike by 50% for 1min.
  • Soul Flay - Xanesh flays the souls of several players, after 10s the souls explode inflicting up to 933k Shadow damage to the affected player. This damage is reduced the further away players are from their Flayed Soul.
  • Queen Azshara
    • Torment - Xanesh torments Queen Azshara causing Void energy to erupt from her in multiple directions, inflicting 393k Shadow damage to players struck.
    • Anguish - Queen Azshara’s suffering causes her to radiate Void energy, inflicting 30k Shadow damage to all players every 2s.
