General Strat

The goal of the fight is to heal up Kael'thas while managing his adds.
To heal Kael'thas, healers can spot heal him and the Essence Fonts that drop on the floor. Dps and tanks can click the Soul Pedestals near Kael to drain their hp to heal him.
Healers - (probably 1 or 2 of you) can pick up Soul Infuser orbs after they die. This increases your healing done by 50% for 14s, stacking.
At 45% and 90% health, Kael will become immune to heals and spawn a Shade of Kael’thas which does the following:
- Fiery Strike - a frontal cone pointed at the tank. Avoid being in front of the boss.
- Ember Blast - a meteor that splits damage. Bring it to melee then move out of its puddle.
- Blazing Surge (100 Energy) - a frontal cone pointed at a random player. Run out of it.
- Phoenix - spawns a phoenix that follows a player and drops fire puddles. Have it follow us to dps it down. Respawns after a little while.
The adds that spawn throughout the fight are:
- High Torturer Darithos - (Only at start of fight) Targets several players to deal damage to anyone near them.
- Rockbound Vanquishers (Tank bois) - Tanks will pick these up
- Bleakwing Assassins (Rogue Bois) - Target several players and deal damage to anyone near them.
- Vile Occultists (Caster Bois) - Interrupt to get them to melee. Make sure Vulgar Brand gets interrupted. Stun/Fear Door of Shadows.
- Soul Infuser (Succ Bois) - Slow/cc them when they spawn. They hurt Kael or heal Shade. Drop an orb for healers when killed.
- Pestering Fiend (Imp Bois) - Everyone needs to be spread. Step away from them when they die.
Dps Priority is Infusers, Occultist, Assassin, Vanquishers, Fiends

Mythic

Kael will occasionally gain a Cloak of Flames absorb shield and begin casting a raid wipe Unleashed Pyroclasm ability. The Cloak needs to be healed off at which point the cast will be interrupted.
Phoenixes don't disappear after shade is defeated so you have to deal with them the whole fight. They may be cc'able.
